Rachel has over a decade of experience in grooming and specializes in working with behavioral and anxious pets. Her calm, patient approach allows her to recognize each pet’s individual needs and create a grooming experience focused on comfort, trust, and safety.
Rachel performs most of her grooms one-on-one allowing her to give each pet her focused attention from start to finish.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in animal science
Animal Coordinator in Bio medical sciences for Tufts University/ Cummings School of veterinary medicine
Prior to opening Shear Love, managed an established salon in Sutton, Massachusetts for 10 years

WHILE SHEAR LOVE IS A LARGER SALON WITH A TALENTED TEAM, WE ALSO OFFER A SEPERATE PRIVATE GROOMING ROOM WHERE ONE-ON-ONE GROOMING CAN BE RESERVED FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE. IN THIS PRIVATE ROOM, YOUR PET RECIEVES THE GROOMERS UNDIVIDED ATTENTION FROM START TO FINISH, AWAY FROM THE ACTIVITY OF THE MAIN SALON.

CATS ARE ALWAYS GROOMED SEPERATELY FROM DOGS. THIS HELPS MINIMIZE NOISE, DISTRACTIONS AND STRESS. WE WORK AT EACH CAT’S INDIVIDUAL COMFORT LEVEL WITH PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING, ALWAYS PUTTING THIER SAFETY AND WELL-BEING FIRST.
